Harris is Toast. On July 22, 2002 the Honolulu Police Department arrested Mike Amii, a top official of the Harris administration, on suspicion of second-degree theft and racketeering related to the Harris campaigns. Having dropped out of the governor's race and under the dark cloud of an ongoing criminal investigation, Jeremy's political career was toast. Or, so it would seem. |
